Before you start
Making your design
The editor lets you do quite a lot. Add your own text in a wide range of fonts - clean and simple through to handwritten and decorative - and you'll see each one previewed as you type. Upload photos or artwork straight from your phone or computer, then crop, resize, rotate and reposition anything until it sits how you want it.
There's also a built-in clipart library, so if you don't have artwork of your own you can build a design entirely from graphics and text without uploading a thing.
Combining text and a photo is the most popular thing people do - a picture with a name underneath, or a date curved above it. You can layer up as many elements as you like within the print area, and on products with more than one printable side you'll be able to switch between them as you work.
If your photo has a busy background there are tools to help tidy it up, and if it needs more work than that, get in touch before you order - we'd far rather sort it than print something disappointing.
What you see in the editor is what gets printed. Colours can vary very slightly between a screen and fabric, but the layout, size and position will be exactly as you left them.
What kind of image should I upload?
The bigger the better - a photo straight from your phone is usually fine.
Avoid screenshots or images saved from social media, as those are compressed and can print blurry.
If yours won't work well, we'll email you before printing rather than sending something disappointing.
Can I see it before it's printed?
Yes - the preview in the designer shows exactly what gets printed. What you see on screen is what goes to the press.
What if I make a mistake?
Contact us as soon as you can and we'll do what we can before production starts.
Once an item has gone to print we can't change it, so it's worth checking spelling carefully before you order.
Can I use a photo with more than one person in it?
Absolutely. Group photos, pets, whole families - anything that means something to the person receiving it.
How long does it take?
Most custom orders are dispatched within 2-4 working days. Christmas gets busier, so we'll show current dispatch times on the product page.
