Delivery Options
At The Gift Project, many of our products are packed and shipped directly by us - but we also partner with a small number of trusted suppliers and independent makers from around the world. These partners are carefully chosen for their high-quality, often handcrafted items that we know our customers will love.
Because of this, some orders may be split across multiple shipments and have slightly different delivery timelines, depending on where each item is coming from, but have the delivery aim of the timeframes listed below. You’ll always receive tracking information as soon as each parcel is dispatched.
** We sometimes do have customers not receiving order confirmation and dispatch emails - please ensure you check your junk/spam mail boxes as these emails are automatically sent out **
Our Shipping Process
Once your order is packed and ready to ship, we’ll send you an email with tracking details for each parcel. If you’ve provided a mobile number at checkout and the courier supports SMS notifications, you may also receive delivery updates via text message.
Please note that items in your order may arrive at different times if they are fulfilled by multiple suppliers but all follow the timeframes below:
Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery timeframes may vary depending on the items in your order and their origin. Below is a general guide based on standard shipping times:
United Kingdom
- Standard Tracked Delivery: 3–8 working days
- Express Delivery: Available at checkout when supported by courier volume and capacity*
United States
- Standard Tracked Delivery: 5-12 working days
- Express Delivery: Available at checkout when supported by courier volume and capacity*
Canada
- Standard Tracked Delivery: 8–15 working days
- Express Delivery: Available at checkout when supported by courier volume and capacity*
Australia
- Standard Tracked Delivery: 9–16 working days

Europe
- Standard Tracked Delivery: 5–10 working days

Rest of the World
- Standard Delivery: 10–20 working days

**Note: Express shipping options may be enabled or disabled depending on courier availability, seasonal demand, and the specific items in your order. All current delivery options and estimated timeframes will be shown clearly at checkout.
Handmade & Specialist Items
Some of our most unique and popular items come from talented independent makers and small-batch suppliers. These products may have slightly longer lead times and may be shipped separately from other items in your order.
Each parcel will have its own tracking information so you can follow its journey.
Customs, Duties & Local Taxes
If you’re ordering internationally, you may be required to pay customs duties or local taxes depending on your country’s import rules. These fees are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the recipient.
- USA: Orders under $200 USD typically do not incur duties.
- Canada: Orders over $60 CAD may be subject to import fees.
- Australia: Orders under AUD $1,000 are generally duty-free, but GST may apply.
- Europe & Rest of World: Charges vary by country and may include import taxes or VAT.
If returning goods internationally, please ensure the parcel is clearly marked as “Returned Goods” on the outside. If customs duties are charged due to incorrect labelling, these fees may be deducted from your refund.

- We do not ship to PO Boxes, MPS addresses, BFPO, or hotel addresses.
